Overview

Job Family: Human Resources

Designs, implements, and monitors human capital programs and policies including total rewards, talent management, learning and development, recruitment and employee relations. Anticipates and plans for long-term people-related needs and trends. Ensures current employees have the necessary skills for future requirements. Maintains HR information systems.

Job Function: HR Technology

Develops, configures, supports and maintains the HR information systems. Analyzes business requirements and develops or modifies programs to ensure the effective storage, retrieval and reporting of employee data. Ensures integrity of HR databases and provides HRIS systems support to end-users. Prepares and/or supervises the production of HRIS reports and subsequent data analysis.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Sr. Specialist, Human Resources Technology supports the HR Technology team on a variety of tasks and assignments including various HR business applications and learns to gather and translate business requirements into technical requirements and user/test cases. The incumbent is the technical point of contact for assigned functional areas to ensure data integrity as well as testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement.

Essential Functions:

* Manages the configuration, upgrades and all changes to the systems and provides guidance to the end users of any system functional questions.
* Maintains business processes and procedures in HCM and sets up and maintains test use case documentation and test scripts.
* Performs functional regression testing post upgrades.
* Provides advise for HR systems including, researching and resolving data issues, performance problems, system errors, or process issues.
* Performs scheduled audits and maintenance activities, recommend solutions and/or improvements for the overall efficiency and increased automation.
* Sets up and maintains approval rules for specific functional area owners and maintains roles & data security values (organizational hierarchy).
* Helps log service requests (SRs) and work with HCM to achieve resolution.
* Schedules & troubleshoots standard reporting and supports additional implementation phases including within other US businesses.
* Sets up and maintains approval rules for specific functional area owners.

* Develops regular scheduled and ad hoc reports.

Requirements:

* Education -
* Bachelor's Degree: HR, information technology, or equivalent field.
* or equivalent work experience


* Experience -
* 3-5 years of experience implementing, developing and managing HR Systems.
* Workday Integrations certification preferred
* 1-3 years hands on experience with Workday including full life cycle deployments or other relevant work experience
* Experience with various Workday integration technology (Workday Studio, EIB, CCB, Workday Web Services API, Workday REST API) or other relevant work experience
* Proficient with various web service technologies (REST, WSDL, SOAP, SSL, PGP, SAML) preferred

Working Conditions:

* Frequently: Minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.

* Physically capable of lifting up to fifty pounds, able to bend, kneel, climb ladders.
