Elements Senior Technical Support Engineer - Cognizant Healthcare Solutions
The technical support team works directly with clients to manage and resolve problems that could require a sound knowledge of the architecture and an eye to reverse engineer the product to identify the root of the problem. Deals directly with internal and external customers to ascertain problems and assist in resolving their issues, while striving to build and maintain strong customer relations and partnerships. Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution. Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting and identifying solutions to resolve issues. Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams. In addition, working with functional and technical teams to identify requirements, architect solutions, implement/update solutions and triage and fix operational issues. Working on application support tools and scripts that can assist supporting applications.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Serve as a Azure technical resource in for the teams efforts to determine the needs of our businesses that will simplify and automate the applications as well as make them more efficient * Align solutions with standards and best practices working with cross-functional engineering and consulting teams * Ability to produce documentation * Establish strong and lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers * Contribute to the development of internal best practices * Build/Test/Deploy tools in Azure for diagnosis application health * Experience working within Service Level Guidelines and resolving incidents * Exposure to Agile methodologies * Effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills * Frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment * Demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of hardware and software products * Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes * Demonstrated ability to deploy applications/systems using proven or emerging technologies and environments * Experience building and supporting diagnostics tools for web based applications; working with IIS logs, WCF service logging, SQL performance and tuning. * Knowledge of certificates, load balancer
* MS Windows systems (services such as IIS/.NET/MSMQ/DTC) automation PowerShell DSC. * Azure * .NET/C# * WCF, troubleshooting web services * Proficient in scripting languages * Configuration management tools & processes * Source code repository tools * OS scripting and tools * Relational databases (SQL Server), understand schemas, database structures and ability to write and debug T-SQL queries. * SSIS package deployment and debugging * Networking concepts and protocols * Security (subnets, firewalls, routing, DNS, HTTP, TLS/SSL, etc.)
