Job Description

The AmazonFresh and Prime Now teams are seeking a Support Engineer to join our team that is focused on building mission critical software used by Amazon customers.

As a Support Engineer, your solutions will impact our customers directly. Your ability to learn quickly and work on complex and overlapping tasks will define your success. Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting, diagnosing and fixing software issues, developing automated monitoring and reporting solutions, performing software maintenance and tech configurations, performing SQL queries, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. You will support team's process improvement initiatives, working with subject matter experts to help implement automation efforts and tooling solutions. As you grow into your role, you will take on responsibility for more and more complex solutions requiring greater technical capabilities.

The ideal candidate must be able to create, maintain and automate the standard operating procedures, work with stakeholders to prioritize the most impactful products, work independently with minimum guidance in a fast-paced environment. You must be able to identify bugs in existing tooling and provide innovative solutions that increase efficiency. You must be able to work with your manager to effectively prioritize projects, make sound judgments and improve the customer experience.

This position is located in Irvine, California. Lots of sun, close to the beach, excellent schools, and a great group of people.
