We solve significant customer problems in the consumer electronics space through devices, mobile applications, cloud services (AWS), computer vision, and machine learning.

The Emerging Devices team is seeking a customer focused, analytically and technically skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Seattle. This position will join the Business Intelligence team and this candidate will be responsible for developing and managing massive, complex datasets that are both scalable and easily accessible. This candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity and a self-starter who seeks out requirements for major business initiatives, and will be an essential team member that can articulate insights using the data.

Core Responsibilities:

* Lead architecture design and implementation of next generation BI solutions.
* Manage AWS resources including EC2, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EMR, Lambda, etc.
* Build and deliver high quality data architecture to support business needs.
* Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
* Deliver high visibility, value-added analytics projects that drive the business forward.
* Interface with business and technical teams to ensure software is delivering the data needed to make informed business decisions.
* Lead data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing initiatives across organization.
