Job Description

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are seeking passionate, smart, hands-on Sr. Software engineers who can help us chart the course for our state-of-the-art Fusion Order Management product. Our product needs to be highly scalable, available and is critical for organizations to run their business. Fusion Order Management provides the capabilities for customers, partners and employees to select the right product, negotiate the best prices and ensure timely fulfillment. Fusion Order Management allows companies flexibility in accepting these orders, transforming them to suit their business needs and then processing their orders through an extensible orchestration framework. A highly configurable capture UI is supplemented by other order capture mechanisms that allow for orders to be captured from many channels.

The Orchestration layer allows for customers to model their business to include only order processing functions that are relevant to them. We function in a highly integrated environment which includes, but not limited to, Fusion Pricing, Fusion Configurator, Fusion Planning, Fusion Inventory, Fusion Shipping, Fusion Accounts Receivable. Basic Qualifications:

* 5-7 years of software engineering or related experience required
* High proficiency in Java, Strong background in creating multi-threaded Java applications
* Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and distributed systems fundamentals
* Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Javascript.
* Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
* A self-starter who is clever, tireless and dedicated
* Excellent Troubleshooting skills
* An Agile mindset
* A team player who values accountability, transparency, quality and sustainability.
* Motivated to learn and grow in experience and knowledge
* B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience developing RESTful APIs in Java
* Basic knowledge of Oracle ADF BC would be a plus
