Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery.

Develops project plans and coordinates cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically 12 years of related experience to include 10 or more years of project management experience desired.

Job Description:

The role of Senior Program Manager in the Enterprise Reporting Program Management Office will help shape the future of Business Intelligence at Oracle and ensure that the internal implementations of our BI solutions are a showcase for the industry.

The Enterprise Reporting Senior Program Manager position within the Finance Systems and Global Process Operations organization is an ideal role for a business-experienced program manager with strong background in reporting solution projects, financial and operational reporting, data analysis, and program leadership.

* This role builds critical business partnerships with line of business owners and IT development teams in order to drive BI initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment
* The senior program manager plays an influential role in shaping reporting solutions, collaborating on enhancements and demonstrating excellent business acumen to successfully perform a diverse variety of assignments
* The senior program manager develops an understanding of the business functions through strong partnerships and leverages prior business experience to serve as a voice of and consultant to the business
* The Enterprise Reporting Senior Program Manager will gain an understanding of the transaction flows that generate the data used by business teams to drive business decisions; and will anticipate reporting impacts from changes in source systems
* This position has responsibility for full project lifecycle activities in projects related to migration of data across systems, data quality, report development, and BI architectural changes

Job Responsibilities:

* Partner with business leaders to understand business needs and problems and relay this information to others in the process of shaping requirements
* Provide consultancy on reporting topics, and influence outcomes to align to Enterprise Reporting standards
* Work with key reporting stakeholders to develop Business Requirements documents
* Work with IT partners to provide reporting solutions to business needs and problems
* Lead requirements gathering process with Finance and other functional business units
* Identify gaps, conflicts and inconsistencies; drive corrective actions
* Lead testing of report functions and data validation to achieve sign off of projects and solutions
* Handle a diverse variety of tasks and assignments independently
* Perform data analysis to help size problems, identify data anomalies, and evaluate the effectiveness of solutions
* Work with and provide excellent support to business partners
* Respond to questions and resolve issues brought by the business about their reporting environment
* Act as a key interface and bridge between the various Lines of Business (LOB's) and IT

Preferred Qualifications:

* 7-10 years combined program management and Finance or Operations experience
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate, manage, and ensure the success of cross organizational, global deployments
* 3 years documented experience delivering Business Intelligence solutions
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Solid understanding of Business Intelligence and data warehousing best practices
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
* Results and delivery oriented
* High degree of organization and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
* Ability to influence others without a direct line of management
* Expertise in OBIEE, or similar business intelligence tools
* Experience with dimensional modeling, data warehouse architecture, master data management and data security are plus points
* All Qualifications Preferred*
