How will you make an impact?

The Sr. Project Manager for Global Service and Support team will lead and individually contribute to multiple, cross-functional projects to help drive consistent and efficient execution of service and support efforts. This experienced, dynamic, technical project manager will be a key member of the Business Excellence team and will work with a broad team, across multiple functions, and support our regional partners to contribute to the overall growth of the Global Services and Support.

What will you do?

* Lead and coordinate ongoing and regularly cadenced projects
* Act as project champion and "general manager," leading multiple projects to optimize our theme "Because Science Can't Wait", and improve team's success towards our key performance indicators.
* Responsible for all day-to-day operational aspects of projects, applying best practices & standards of project management to deliver on commitments. This includes but is not limited to, project initiation, scoping, activity & resource planning, risk analysis & mitigation, execution, stakeholder management and project documentation.
* Provide clear and concise communication, both written & verbal, to all levels of the project team & stakeholders, adapting style to accommodate a diversity of audiences & situations.
* Work with teams and individuals to mitigate conflicts and resolve issues as needed. Leverage cross-organizational relationships for support, and resolution of issues.
* Anticipate, creatively solve and proactively mitigates problems vs. simply reacting.
* Measure and communicate status of projects and results of completed projects.


* Define and prioritize new projects to help accelerate success and efficiency of our business.
* Identify business and function needs and scope projects to a level to sufficiently enable prioritization.
* Convert program requirements to executable deliverables; develop and help maintain project plans and schedules.
* Identify and communicate program scope and ensure critical paths, milestones and all objectives are met.
* Curate, analyze, and present data to solve problems, drive change, and improve performance.
* Impact business performance and operational efficiency through the delivery of results, as well as continuous improvement of internal and cross-functional processes.


* Work closely with regional business excellence managers to ensure that global projects and processes account for regional considerations and help drive regional success.
* May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.

How will you get here?

Education:

* Bachelor's Degree in business administration, project management, or related degree highly preferred.

Experience:

* 5+ years' experience leading multiple, cross-functional global projects.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

* PMP, Six Sigma, Process Improvement, Agile Scrum.
* Experience managing projects in a large, corporate environment with many stakeholders.
* Knowledge or experience in life sciences or with highly technical products.
* Experience or knowledge of common business systems, data analytics, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, etc.
* Understanding of IT systems including Cognos/EDW, SAP Business Objects, JDEdwards E1, SAP, Siebel, etc.
* Exceptional communication skills with an astute attention to detail & accuracy.
* Desire to learn about and understand our products and customers.
* Pro-active, helpful, 'can-do' attitude.
* Willingness to be an individual contributor while simultaneously acting as the project manager.
* Able to build effective relationships, influence people, drive accountability and resolve conflict.
* Self-managing and self-motivating, able to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and expectations.
* Exceptional analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
* Driven to continuously develop and improve own and team performance
* Strong business acumen, strategic planning skills, collaborative approach and customer focus are essential.
