Microsoft is re-envisioning how companies manage projects. The team's charter is to bring together Microsoft Project, Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation and Dynamics F&O SI modules to empower an individuals, teams and large organizations. The challenge is to build a delightful project offerings that can add value to seasoned and the accidental project manager, small project teams and enable business processes and project financials in large project-based organizations.

The Dynamics 365 Project Operations team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive end-to-end experiences for projects. This service offering will be focused on bringing together the strengths of Microsoft Office and Dynamics. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for core experiences like: estimating and quoting for project work, enable rich interactions between project managers and resource managers as they staff project teams, build delightful experiences for reporting time and expenses and tracking project progress and spend.

You will need to understand the range and scale of projects and enjoy wallowing with customers, partners, ISVs and end-users to develop an instinct for how project management software can make add value and make a real difference to their lives. You will have the opportunity to own features end-to-end from conception through implementation and will drive a cycle of iterative improvements post-ship. You will be required to work up and down the stack from UI to database and across disciplines from pre-sales, sales to customer support for the features that you owned, designed and implemented.

* 6+ years of Product/Program Management experience on an end-user facing product
* Strong project management and cross-group collaboration skills
* Self-motivated, curious, and adaptive mindset
* Technical depth and aptitude, including a solid understanding of web technologies and service operations
* Ability to structure complex problems and think creatively and critically about product features, architecture, and technical limitations
* Passion for and intuition with user experiences

* Own and drive end-to-end experiences for feature areas
* Drive the product specification / experience review process, including framing the user problem, prioritizing the product scenarios, researching competitive data or other user research, identifying key metrics and indicators of success, and collaborating with your Design and Development counterparts to create wireframes, mock-ups, scope out work, and identify dependencies and risks
* Collaborate with your Triad (PM, Dev, Design), and other partner teams across BAG and Microsoft
* Understand the competitive landscape and gaps / differentiators between competitive experiences and the experience you own
* Prioritize scenarios and requirements for your feature areas; inform broader product roadmap discussions
* Monitor and synthesize learnings from product telemetry, user research, and qualitative input to design and improve your features.
