Requirements

Capella Space is looking to grow its engineering team with a Software Engineer to help develop, support, and improve our internal tools and infrastructure. You'll work closely with hardware, software, and spacecraft operations teams to build databases, services, and interfaces that drive our engineering efforts.

For example, you enjoy building tools and services to automate spacecraft testing. Or you like building new visualization and analysis tools from existing databases of hardware telemetry.

Ideal Qualifications:

* Independent problem solver.
* Experience building and deploying robust, secure, and well documented services.
* Prior knowledge of Python and Python web frameworks (Flask/Django) preferred but not required.
* Knowledge of distributed task/worker systems, and databases.
* Familiar with design, implementation, test, deployment, and maintenance of microservices.
* Bugs annoy you. You enjoy root-causing incorrect and anomalous behavior.
* Some familiarity with service deployment technologies-CI/CD, ansible, etc.
* Strong sense of craftmanship and desire to build products that people love to use.
* Enjoy working collaboratively on a small team and building large chunks of a system.
* Good communications skills and enjoyment of learning from and teaching other team new skills.
