Job Description

Microsoft Azure Stack is a hybrid cloud platform that lets customers deliver Azure services in their datacenters. Azure Stack brings the power of Azure to customers with unique security or compliance requirements, and enables new scenarios for modern applications such as edge and disconnected environments. Azure Stack is a unique hybrid cloud that runs on a variety of hardware configurations at smaller scale while still offering a useful subset of Azure services.

Basic qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field
* 3+ years of software development experience using C, C++, C#, Java or Python

Preferred qualifications:

* Solid CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.)
* Excellent technical design, problem solving, and debugging skills
* Good communication skills
* REST services and WebApi experience would be useful

Cloud Background check:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Our team builds the compute stack, from the low level physical host fabric through the high level tenant facing services. The compute stack is one of the core pillars that form the technical foundation for the rest of the platform. On this team you will have the opportunity to learn about core Azure technologies and components, and understand how they must be adapted to work with our unique requirements.
