Join an experienced and highly motivated team of software engineers focused on testing core functionality in Simulink. This position will concentrate on advancing the methodology and technology for testing Simulink Examples. Examples are the most customer facing portion of Simulink, and this position will be entrusted with developing infrastructure and tests to ensure these examples work properly. You will work with engineers from across the organization and become well acquainted with the workings of Simulink and associated products. Knowledge of Simulink is a plus, and the ability to learn about new products and apply that knowledge to your work is necessary.
The position is involved with all aspects of the example development and will be responsible for:
* Writing tests for Simulink Examples * Writing and maintaining infrastructure for example testing * Devising new strategies for example testing * Working with developers on new examples, aiding them with example design to ensure testability * Working with other software engineers in test to improve existing examples testing * Working with infrastructure teams to improve example creation and testing * Monitor health of examples testing and devise metrics to analyze quality of example testing
* A bachelor's degree and 5 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree) is required.
* Experience with MATLAB * Experience with Simulink and/or associated products * Knowledge of industry standards for testing * Knowledge of or experience in model based design * Experience with C/C++ * Skilled with Python/Perl or similar scripting language * Familiarity with build systems/Makefiles
