About the Position

We are looking for a Full Stack or Backend software developer to join the Identity Team at Twitch. We are building solutions to make a Twitch Identity the most recognized and trusted gamers identity.

This is a technical role that builds heavily on internet standards for authentication and authorization on Twitch platform and our OAuth enabled partners. Our products are highly scalable and highly available world wide. As we level up our architecture and features, you will have the opportunity to influence design decisions, tooling choices, and every last detail that makes us the best product we can be.

Responsibilities

* Increase the availability and performance of our products using Go and NoSQL technologies
* Provide world class authentication, authorization and identity management services for the Twitch community
* Level up our organization as a whole with industry best practices and data driven technology choices
* Solve complex problems that span teams, services, and customers

Requirements

* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
* 2+ years working in Service Oriented Architectures
* Strong data structures knowledge
* Actual experience developing, testing, releasing and supporting scalable web applications
* Familiarity with authentication, authorization, federated identity or identity management

Bonus Points

* Full stack software development experience so that you will be comfortable writing Go, JavaScript and Unix Shell in the same afternoon
* Working with Amazon, Facebook or Google identity solutions
* Game development experience, especially around player accounts
* Experience implementing Application Security requirements or remediating security issues
