Are you looking for a position on the forefront of gaming? Part of the Growth and Engagement Team in the Gaming org, the Game Pass team is bringing the power of subscription gaming to a quickly growing user base, and we're just getting started. We're looking for a Software Engineer II to help us build experiences that make it easier for our users to learn more about the offering, find the next game they want to play, and engage with it quickly, across all of their devices.

As a member of the Mobile development team, you will focus on the experiences we'll use to help users discover and continually rediscover the growing value that their Game Pass subscription provides them, right on the devices where they play their games.

Must-haves:

* 3+ years of professional software development experience building end-user applications
* Excellent design and coding skills in Swift or Objective-C
* A strong interest for bringing value to a gaming audience and an understanding of their needs
* A love of working together across disciplines and being an active participant in a community of inclusion and respect
* The mindset to strive in an agile environment where your work changes rapidly in response to customer feedback and data

Strong pluses:

* React Native and Redux development experience
* Understanding of the mobile user base and ecosystems
* BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred

Your role on the Mobile team will have you building integrated and app experiences that show the value of the subscription to acquire new customers, as well as highlighting the content that will help retain current subscribers.

Existing experience with iOS app development using Objective-C or Swift is a must, and an interest in the gaming space and associated ecosystems is highly valued.

Understanding of mobile development and building cross-platform apps with rich experiences that interact with web services will be immediately impactful.

Beyond this, our team has a diverse set of partnerships, including services teams in Xbox Live and Store, platform teams on the Xbox console and many more. Thus, strong communication and collaboration skills are a must.
