Working under the direction of the Engineering Manager, will be responsible for building revolutionary software tools used in modeling, simulating, and deploying modular, multi-domain engineering systems; designing and developing the next generation of block diagram enhancements and tools for use in modeling, simulation and code generation of complex multi-domain systems; designing, developing and re-architecturing the core technology for Simulink, the Company's flagship product used for designing, modeling, simulating, and analyzing dynamic systems and control systems; designing, modeling and analyzing control and dynamic systems products used by customers in the automotive, aerospace, industrial automation, and robotics domains; developing and delivering new Simulink add-ons and components to extend the features and functionalities for large scale modeling; leveraging software architecture and C++ skills to improve the Simulink product infrastructure; and collaborating with other Simulink teams and developing algorithms to improve modeling, simulation, testing and code generation for component-based workflows.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Master's degree or higher (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and no experience.
OR
Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Engineering or Computer Science and five (5) years of experience in job offered or five (5) years of experience in performance optimization of simulation software.
Special Requirements:
* Demonstrated expertise writing algorithms in C++ and MATLAB to enhance simulation functionality.
* Demonstrated expertise in object oriented programming and design using C++ and MATLAB.
* Demonstrated expertise re-architecting simulation code to enhance performance using C++.
* Demonstrated expertise developing algorithms in C++ according to data structures and design patterns using STL and Boost libraries.
