Job Description

Power BI is the hottest Azure service on any cloud-based BI offering right now. The leading Gartner industry benchmark places us far ahead of the rest of the pack (https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/gartner-recognizes-microsoft-as-a-leader-in-analytics-and-bi-platforms-for-11-consecutive-years/). We've exceeded 2.5 million of monthly active users. Microsoft expects growth with Power BI, but that's entirely dependent on us building a robust developer experience that allows businesses to push their data directly into Power BI and customize their data exploration experience.

Basic Qualifications:

* B.S., M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of experience as a software developer - designing and writing code
* Experience with a modern language like C#/Java/C++

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with the JavaScript ecosystem and a modern web framework like Angular/React
* Experience with SQL and RDBMS
* Experience with RESTful services and API design skills.
* Prior work of building performant and scalable cloud-based services
* Experience with Azure technologies is a plus
