Azure Networking is the team behind Microsoft cloud infrastructure. Physical Networking team is responsible for the data center networks that enable cloud services. Our focus is on smart growth, high efficiency, and delivering a trusted experience to customers and partners worldwide. We are looking for a passionate, high energy individual to help build the network that powers the world's largest online services.

We in Azure 1st Party Networking are collaboratively working to support the needs of our internal application groups and migrate them to our cloud platform. We work together across Microsoft to enable end to end networking scenarios for our dedicated application groups. Our team leverages the fundamental building blocks at the heart of the Azure platform to build trusted solutions. We seek highly motivated and talented engineers to design and deliver solutions leveraging our platform, including replication systems, highly available systems, large scale algorithms, dynamic and high-performance solutions at massive scale. We seek skills in software, hardware and network engineers.

Required:

* 5+ years of software development experience
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field OR equivalent years of industry experience

You should have skills in critical thinking, problem solving, design, engineering and debugging. You should have experience in delivering high quality, large projects, and be passionate about correctness, and building robust and scalable solutions. You should love translating strategy into results.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
