Job Description
The Devices Software/Firmware Development Team is seeking a key individual to contribute to and drive ongoing and future firmware for Microsoft's Xbox product line.
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Development in both 'C' and 'Assembly', ideally on ARM processors, at an expert level. Have led multiple embedded projects in career. Developed custom bootcode or contributed to a UEFI implementation. Familiarity with AMBA, PCIe, or related bus protocols. Experience with Power Management and how it relates to topics such as Bus Training, Clock Management, and Memory Initialization. Familiarity and comfort with typical tools used in firmware development. Minimum 4 years of experience in this field. Desirable Qualifications: Skill in working with stakeholding partners to achieve overall/shared goals. Developed against (or written) simulators to permit firmware development while custom silicon is still being designed or modified.
