Duties: Work in full software development lifecycle for Data Warehouse data integration projects including gathering requirements, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementing, post-production support and maintenance in both the classic SDLC model and Agile SCRUM. Engage with business customers to gather requirements and design applications based on business requirements. Deliver code and work products within defined timelines and quality parameters using business intelligence and Data warehousing principles and methodologies. Provide full life-cycle management for code and work products inclusive of post-production management of issue in the Data Warehouse integration layers. Provide post-production management and support of legacy code and work products in the Data Warehouse integrations layers. Respond to issues in Integration layers specific to Informatica, Oracle, Netezza, Postgres, Hive(Hadoop), Unix and any new technology solutions adopted going forward to provide solutions in timely manner. Provide change order impact analysis when changes in scope are received from business customer. Ensure quality of code and adherence to design, coding standards and deployment plans. Coordinate efforts with offshore team for increased team throughput. Communicate progress and action items with project manager or Product Owner. Mentor and guide team members to improve quality of technical output. Utilize the following technologies: ETL Tool: Informatica/ODI, Scheduler: Appworx, Version Control: PVCS/BitBucket/Github, MPP: Netezza,Redshift, RDBMS:DB2, SQLServer, Oracle, Coding: SQL, PL SQL, Python, Shellscript,, Big Data: Hive (Hadoop)/Redshift/Google Big Query and OS: Unix/Linux.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field plus 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Project Lead, or a related position working in the full software development lifecycle. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in an acceptable field as stated above plus 5 years of progressively responsible experience as stated above. Full term of experience must include the following: working with Datastage/Informatica, ControlM/Appwprx, Github, Teradata, DB2, SQL Server, Oracle, SQL, PL SQL, Hive (Hadoop) and Unix; performing analysis, design and development of data structures using ETL/ELT tools and concepts for Data Warehouse systems; performing unit/functional and integration testing using automated testing solutions; performing data cleanse/transform/obfuscation/encryption and move techniques for population of warehouses/marts and analytics platforms for both on-prem and cloud-based systems; analyzing data for post-processing validation and issue resolution; working with Business Insights teams for requirements gathering and defining data transformation methods and business rules; and creating and translating technical to business-centric documentation and vice-versa.
