Role Summary:The Need: Quality Assurance with 8-10 years' experience

The Opportunity: To contribute directly to the success of innovative cloud based unmanned aerial and autonomous flight operations ecosystem.

Essential Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for the quality of our UAV/drone operations management products. A successful candidate for this position is expected to lead the QA team and responsible for designing and implementing test infrastructure and automation. This position expects that the candidate can manage QA team, work with external and internal teams, and help team members to triage bugs. The ability to define and fulfill QA tasks based on product requirements and delivering in accordance with fast paced Agile development schedules is important.

In this role, you will:

Be responsible for driving the Software Quality Engineering efforts across unit, module, system and user acceptance testing

Provide expert oversight, mentoring team members and leading quality initiatives in large development efforts. Experienced in effectively delegating work

Manage QA teams (onshore and offshore) with people management responsibilities

Be responsible for designing and implementing test framework including automation in a fast-paced Agile development environment using the latest software development and test methodologies

Work with multiple teams, define QA tasks with priorities, and help team members to fulfill them

Represent QA teams and participate in planning and execution using agile methodologies such as SCRUM and serve as a key driver to improve product quality

Work with Product Line Leaders (PLLs) to understand product requirements & vision

Qualifications/Requirements:

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or in "STEM" Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with 8-10 years' experience in quality engineering

A minimum of 4 years of experience in a QA manager capacity

Desired Characteristics:

Experience in managing both onshore and offshore teams

Expert in designing and implementing QA automation testing

Demonstrated experience in being a subject matter expert for products

Experience with the practices and dynamics in Agile development process

Demonstrated experience in leading QA vision for products

Use of documentation, collaboration, version control tools
