Position Overview
Objective:The dedicated Professional Services Consultant will be part of a team of product specialists specifically focused on Fortinet product. The Professional Services Consultant with the end user to define the specific daily activities, which include but are not limited to: to FortiSIEM product. Responsibilities:· Assisting end user operations staff with technical support for FortiSIEM products· Network security design· Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates· Development of test plans· Testing new features and/or new FortiSIEM releases· Verifying FortiSIEM configurations and implementing best practices per end user policies· Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products.· Delivering general knowledge transfer to end user staff. · Be able to travel domestically and international as needed Required Skills: 5+ Years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet Support or Administration3+ Years experience with Network Security ProductsExperience working in a virtual machine environmentSolid understanding of general security and networking principals and technologies such as:Switching, Routing and the OSI modelFirewalls, VPN, Anti-Virus and Content FilteringIntrusion Detection and PreventionStrong general knowledge of common networking and security protocols and applications such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, FTP, DNS, IPSec, PKI, OSPF, RIP, VLANsWell Developed and Effective communication and presentation skillsAbility and competence to write technical material for training, white papers using applications such as Power Point, Word and Visio.Excellent troubleshooting skills.Ability to work well under pressure and handle confrontation when necessary.Ability to travel internationally if needed.
