Job Description

The Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) division of Raytheon is seeking an engineering leader with execution experience in the development, integration, and verification of radars on military aircraft.

The Integration, Verification, and Validation Lead will independently manage the development and execution of a large airborne development and integration activity. This Mission Systems Integrator role requires daily contact with multiple companies as well as customer counterparts. This individual will have direct responsibility for a test program which includes development of good system requirements, establishing test methods and techniques, planning tests, writing test procedures and reports, generating, implementing and verifying test equipment requirements, leading the integration efforts as well as the verification and validation of system level requirements.

This individual needs to have a working knowledge of aircraft modifications, the addition sensors to an airframe, and an understanding of the difficulties of integrating complex airborne systems. Other responsibilities include leading test readiness reviews and utilizing broad knowledge of test engineering, including applying understanding of principles of related engineering and technology to ensure test validity and integrity.

Responsibilities include providing technical leadership, guidance and direct interfacing with customer testing organizations as well as working groups, contractors, and Raytheon personnel necessary to provide customers with verified and validated systems to meet the customer needs.

This role requires the applicant to be able to travel within the United States of America.

Required Skills:

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in System integration, verification, and validation
* Experience with Airborne Radar related products
* Technical experience in Radar systems IV&V, including SIL, ground, and flight testing
* Experience with System-Level Integration and Testing
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
* U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

Desired Skills:

* EVMS certification
* Cost Account Manager Experience
* Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) or Program Management experience
* Experience or familiarity with unmanned airborne systems

B.S. in Engineering, Systems, Electrical, Computer, Software or related discipline 136825 Business Unit Profile
