Position Responsibilities

Deltek is actively seeking a passionate, driven, and dedicated Principal Consultant to join our team in support of our Maconomy ERP software (more product information can be found here: http://bit.ly/2At9ehS). Candidates will be based, remotely, out of our Woburn, MA OR Herndon, VA office location.

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

* Working together with the Deltek team and our Clients to design, develop and implement software extensions that enable Clients to get the most out of their ERP System.
* Leveraging software development life cycle knowledge to document, develop, review and deploy solutions and configurations.
* Be responsible for solving complex Client issues and working independently to provide creative solutions when necessary.
* Serve as the Client point of contact for questions, adhoc inquiries and general Client requests.

Qualifications

* 3+ years of experience with Java Development and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
* Experience with integration of key business applications with ERP products.
* Experience querying and working within SQL databases.
* Experience designing, developing, configuring and documenting automated systems, processes, workflows and/or programs
* Experience working in an Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Eclipse or similar
* Experience working with source control systems
* Candidates must be willing to travel up to 40%
* US Citizenship is required for this position.

* Experience working with Maconomy or similar ERP products is an advantage (but not required)
