ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you enjoy guiding bills of material through the product lifecycle management process? PAX is looking for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Analyst to be responsible for defining the product Bill of Materials (BOM) structure, driving accurate product documentation within Arena PLM system, and manage the build configurations and allocations to support validation/qualification requirements. You will report to the PLM Lead and will be part of a small but exceedingly passionate group of experts in their field, working cross-functionally throughout the Hardware Engineering and Global Supply team at PAX.

As the PAX PLM Analyst, you will:

* Prioritize part number creation based on interdepartmental requirements and build phase deadlines
* Create and structure Bill of Materials (BOM) and communicate new part numbers to internal teams and the Contract Manufacturer or supplier
* Create, handle and process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Manufacturer Change Orders (MCO) and Deviations
* Collaborate cross-functionally to gather documentation/test results to input into ECO/MCO process
* Create meetings and document action items and progress
* Work on multiple spreadsheets and projects simultaneously
* Drive continuous process improvement to product data management processes

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

* 3+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: Business process development, PLM, coordinating data, teams, and logistics
* Be familiar with consumer device builds and planning schedules
* Have unparalleled multi-tasking abilities in managing multiple programs efficiently
* Possess knowledge of hardware bill of materials (BOM) structures and change control concepts
* Be an excellent organizer, with the ability to manage complex spreadsheets and coordinate across cross-functional teams and job functions
* Expert in product data management and product lifecycle management tools (e.g., Agile, Arena, Windchill, Teamcenter)
* Be a quick learner with ability to follow direction and adapt to changes in order to promote efficiency and productivity
* Familiar with PLM process application in a small company NPI R&D environment
* Be highly motivated to learn and contribute

* Proven results driving multiple, concurrent tasks from initiation to completion
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large cross-functional team
* Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive environment
* Proven experience managing, organizing and maintaining large quantities of data
* Critical thinking with detailed accuracy is essential
* Combination of organizational and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects
* Ability to influence, effectively communicate, and drive deadlines with different teams
* Understanding of configuration management
* Understanding of complex BOMs (Preferably, for hardware products)
* Experience in using MS Excel and/or Google suite of products

EDUCATION

* BA/BS Degree or 3+ years of industry experience
* CM2 Certification is a plus
