5-7 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Oracle Data Integration ETL Consultant - Principal Consultant

Position Description:

The Oracle Analytics Consulting Practice for North America Consulting (NA-TAG) is chartered with helping customers successfully leverage their investment in Oracle software for maximum returns.

We assist and guide our customers by developing analytic reporting strategies and solutions, creating implementation roadmaps, performing assessments, as well as rapid start and full-life cycle implementations of Oracle's Business Analytics and Oracle Data Integration Platform (DIPC) solutions both in the cloud and on-premise.

Oracle Data Integration Platform (DIPC) helps migrate and extract value from data by bringing together capabilities of a complete Data Integration, Data Quality and Data Governance solution into a single, unified cloud-based platform. Oracle DIPC incorporates machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) powered features, including automated data migration and data warehouse building, as well as machine assisted data profiling and governance, allowing customers to service all their data integration needs in one cohesive platform, so that all users can now transition and collaborate across these capabilities and projects seamlessly.

We are looking for an experienced data integration consultant with hands-on experience working with Oracle's various analytics integration and ETL tools to join our team to assist Oracle's clients with their analytics implementation and migration projects. A rapid increase in our customer's desire to migrate to their analytic solutions to Oracle Cloud while leveraging Oracle Data Integration Platform (DIPC) has meant an increase in demand for Oracle Consulting services.

Candidates should have at least five years of consulting and/or professional experience designing and building ETL integrations for Oracle Analytics projects using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other ETL tools. Experience with one or more of the following is recommended as well: Oracle Data Sync, Golden Gate (GG), Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ), Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management (OEMM), and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

Key Responsibilities

* Creating and customizing ETL integrations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) leveraging various Oracle and non-Oracle data sources for the purposes of populating data warehouses or data marts either in Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud (ADW), Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBaaS) or on-premise for use in Oracle Analytics implementation projects.
* Analyze customer use cases, create ETL design, build ETL maps, test, and performance tuning.
* Migrate existing ETL workloads from on-premise to Oracle Cloud.
* Create and automate load jobs to load data into Oracle data warehouse, data marts, Oracle ESSBASE using Oracles integration and ETL tools (ODI).
* Convert from third-party ETL tools to ODI.

Job Requirements

* Minimum 5 years of experience creating and customizing ETL integrations using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or similar third-party tools.
* Experience with one or more of the following Oracle solutions: Data Sync, GG, EDQ, EDM, OEMM, ADW.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* May require travel to client sites for projects.
