The FAST Labs business area is the innovation, research and development engine within the Electronic Systems (ES) Sector of BAE Systems. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated aircraft or spacecraft integration and test skills and strong leadership skills working with multi-functional teams in a challenging fast-paced environment. Candidates must have experience running integration and test with flight hardware, authoring test plans and procedures, integrating hardware and software, mission-level modeling and simulation, and possess strong organizational and presentation skills. Specific responsibilities include:
* Reviews system designs and architectures in accordance with established systems development processes and procedures * Authors test plans and procedures to verify and/or validate aspects of system designs * Executes modeling and simulation trade studies * Verifies hardware/software integration * Develops and analyzes complex systems solutions * Creates novel approaches to assignments * Mentor and guide junior engineers
