The FAST Labs business area is the innovation, research and development engine within the Electronic Systems (ES) Sector of BAE Systems. Our mission is to accelerate the transition of game-changing technologies into the hands of our warfighters. As a team consisting of engineers and scientists, many who have made significant contributions to projects for the nation's most prestigious research organizations including DARPA, Army Research Labs, NRL, and Air Force Research Labs, we are driven to lead and collaborate on research efforts for leading academic and DoD research organizations. These efforts build and demonstrate systems that show our customers revolutionary possibilities that our FAST Labs team matures from research prototype to delivered product.

We are seeking an individual with demonstrated aircraft or spacecraft integration and test skills and strong leadership skills working with multi-functional teams in a challenging fast-paced environment. Candidates must have experience running integration and test with flight hardware, authoring test plans and procedures, integrating hardware and software, mission-level modeling and simulation, and possess strong organizational and presentation skills. Specific responsibilities include:

* Reviews system designs and architectures in accordance with established systems development processes and procedures
* Authors test plans and procedures to verify and/or validate aspects of system designs
* Executes modeling and simulation trade studies
* Verifies hardware/software integration
* Develops and analyzes complex systems solutions
* Creates novel approaches to assignments
* Mentor and guide junior engineers
