Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations

* Reporting to the Programme Director, the Deployment Manager will be responsibility for directing and motivating a number of multidisciplinary rollout teams who will be responsible for the full turnkey deployment of the national network.
* Will provide the overall leadership and project management for the network deployment of all network elements in the mobile and fixed networks including site acquisition, civil work, installation, vendor management of all network elements.
* The ability to understand complex rollout slippage, suggest alternative solutions to bring implementation programme back on track, as well as influencing direction to ensure deliverables are meet as per implementation plan.
* Must have the ability to control resources and costs against the project budget.
* Ensure that change control procedures are actively used to assess and manage the impact of proposed changes to the project on costs, timescales and scope.
* Plan and organize information flow and communication within the Rollout Teams to ensure coordination and clear understanding about the share of responsibilities.
* Manage identified risk and what actions have been and/or will be taken to minimize/eliminate them. The role requires the ability to concisely and accurately communicate and manage requirements internally and externally meeting customer expectations.
