As a Business Systems Architect, the person will be responsible for collaborating with business partners, Program and Project managers, and Engineering to identify system impacts and interdependencies for proposed solutions throughout the lifecycle of the program. More specifically, the beneficiary will continue to be responsible for the following job duties -
Role & Responsibilities
* You provide subject matter expertise in the finance business process areas * You partner with Engineering to build complex logic to support reporting and/or integrations * You stay abreast of application software release roadmaps and plan on how best to take advantage of newly released features * You provide guidance and direction to our business partners on the optimal use of our systems infrastructure * You represent the finance systems team in your assigned region and facilitate interactions with the wider team across the globe * Maintain end to end vision of business needs from requirements to test for large scale functional or cross functional programs * Support the identification and/ or identify and communicate upstream and downstream impacts to systems/ applications * Advise stakeholders on the business impacts as well impacts to time/ scope and budget * Act as liaison/ partner between internal/ business and technical teams and provide inputs to technical specification * You partner with key stakeholders from your assigned functional area and develop/execute business process improvement roadmaps * You create and update system configurations that enable our business processes to run as efficiently as possible * Drive enterprise initiatives and represent business stakeholders to ensure complete coverage around business process or system solution * Design optimal and scalable business processes or system solution blue prints around functional systems in alignment with overall corporate strategy and vision * Conduct impact analysis, prioritize requirements and make recommendations to business * Ensure integration of requirements into the process optimization solutions * Partner with program managers and other internal and cross tracks to represent business stakeholders on Change Control Boards and Cross Functional programs as applicable to the project * Continuously reviews the business requirements to ensure alignment with business objectives * Work with business process designers during the design and development of the process (i.e. structuring L4-L6 processes) * Works with IT teams during the design of IT architecture and systems * Participate in Catalyst labs and provide input into the creation of "As Is" and "To Be" process models
* Experience in implementing systems and solutions in one or more of the following domains: * B2C revenue and cash accounting (high volume transactions), treasury & insurance management, financial planning & analysis, tax management - direct & indirect, record to report * 10+ years Business Systems Architect / Program Lead experience in the finance process area * Knowledge of and experience with enterprise systems (cloud applications preferable) and a solid understanding of enterprise integration * Strong collaboration and leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management * Ability to manage multiple global projects concurrently meeting all critical deliverable dates * Superb communication skills, both written and verbal * Experience working with geographically distributed cross-functional teams. * Flexibility and ability to adapt within a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. * Good work ethic and sense of responsibility * Experience in the execution of global change management
