Our Consumer & Community Banking Group depends on innovators like you to serve nearly 66 million consumers and over 4 million small businesses, municipalities and non-profits. You'll support the delivery of award winning tools and services that cover everything from personal and small business banking as well as lending, mortgages, credit cards, payments, auto finance and investment advice. As a member of our Software Engineering Group you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You'll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products. You'll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of what's being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is key. And best of all, you'll be working with and sharing ideas, information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.

Analyze business requirements, outline proposed IT solutions, and develop high-quality applications that address business needs within mature technology environments. Participate in design reviews, provide input on design recommendations, and incorporate security requirements into design. Document detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules, and develop and enhance software application modules. Utilize programming skills and contribute to the technical code base, adhering to coding standards, procedures, and techniques. Participate in code reviews, and ensure that all solutions are aligned to predefined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues. Provide input on information/data flow. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members, and understand and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps. Adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing, and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Review and provide feedback on any required final user documentation.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

* Computer Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus
* five (5) years of experience in the job offered or
* five (5) years of experience as Consultant - CRM,
* Programmer Analyst, System Analyst, Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Five (5) years of experience with
* Java, J2EE, JMS
* object-oriented analysis and design techniques
* HTML; JSP
* Oracle 9-11g
* JDBC; Pega
* Cloud computing
* PL/SQL.
