As its name suggests, UI Designers focus on a website's functionality. While they work closely with UX designers and UX researchers, UI designers focus on the mechanics of how a website functions, designing each page with a thorough understanding of the logical progression mapped out by UX designers and researchers. They also develop style guides for websites and products, ensuring language and imagery are consistent to reinforce branding and consistent messaging and imagery in public and internal-facing documentation.
