Job Description
AWS marketing maintains a customized WordPress instance which is used by hundreds of bloggers. As a WordPress engineer you will help to understand our bloggers' needs and will build custom solutions to help our bloggers write high quality content faster. You will also ensure that WordPress is perpetually up-to-date and that the MySQL RDS instance is healthy and scaling. If you are looking for a position that integrates WordPress plugins, this is the wrong position. If you are looking for a position that creates new and novel WordPress solutions that leverage AWS services, this could be the position you are looking for.This position maintains and upgrades WordPress, and is responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining the WordPress.
