You like to work with small nimble teams, experimenting quickly to raise the bar on Amazon's customer experience through continuous innovation. You challenge the status quo and know how to create amazing user experiences with high availability, beautiful designs, and accessible code. You are a champion of front-end best practices across the entire organization. Your engineering peers are inspired by your skills in front-end technologies, and also learn from your middle-tier engineering skills. You can deliver changes to customers continuously, and are not afraid to experiment on a daily basis with new ideas. You own making the design team and developers more productive and getting front-end code out to the site faster, with higher quality, for the entire organization. When you're asked to build a detail page for 16 million color variations, for every session on Amazon, you are technical enough to see all the obstacles and creative enough to overcome them. You know that amazing results come from the smart, hard-working people you surround yourself with. You exemplify amazing engineering and strive to be a role-model for high quality front-end coding in the organization. You will work across all 7 HCX teams, delivering front-end projects from start to finish. You will take designs to production code as fast as possible. Your goal is to make the UX design team as self-sufficient as possible, enabling them to develop as much as they can to production quality, before the engineering team gets involved. You will be a mentor and role model for all engineers in the organization. You will scale our current programs internationally, build self-service features, and help take our programs BIG. Recognizing that there's often more to learn from failure than success, you'll experiment constantly. You'll double down when your experiments resonate with customers and deliver products that drive hundreds of millions in revenue. You will run ahead of the engineering team, building working front-end prototypes fast and helping the team secure funding for new initiatives by demonstrating our vision.
