As a Drupal/Web developer engineer, you will be responsible for requirement specification, development, testing and maintenance of Lucid's internal web services. Our ideal candidate would exhibit a can-do attitude and approach complex problems with vigor and determination. Candidates should have demonstrated the ability to learn quickly, adapt and collaborate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. You must be excellent at multi-tasking and be able to balance detail-oriented skills with the ability to summarize quickly and clearly.

You will:

* Design, develop and maintain website and software applications.
* Use authoring, management and content creation tools, applications and digital media.
* Synchronize requirements and use cases with internal teams to develop content criteria and control flow.
* Handle frequent feedback.
* Develop and deploy web applications in a cross-platform, cross-browser environment.
* Define test cases and develop test harness to ensure proper requirement coverage.
* Use the latest web application techniques and programming practices.

Requirements:

* Solid knowledge and experience in programming applications.
* 1-3 years of experience in building websites using Web Content Management Systems using Drupal 8/Docker Tools.
* Migrate code from existing Drupal 7 to the new Drupal 8 site
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
* Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
* Establishing reusable code, libraries, and patterns
* Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, MySQL.
* Familiarity with web development and debugging tools.
* Participate in agile and scrum best practices as we strive for continuous integration and delivery (CI-CD)
* Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX Designs.
* Understanding of cloud-based development and deployment.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment.
* High degree of independent judgment.
* Detail-oriented with strong time management and organization skills, and dedication to quality
* Knowledgeable of REST-based API-s
* Attention to detail and an appreciation for design and beautiful UX Desired Experience
* Supporting production operations and provide engineering-level insight on platform issues

Bonus:

* Familiarity with micro-services
* Drupal 8
* Any Java/UI/Fullstack experience is a plus
* Experience with Kubernetes
* Knowledge of cloud-based development

Education:

* Associate's degree in web development or bachelor's in computer science
