The Support Technologies Data team is seeking a manager to organize, lead, and execute a portfolio of high impact projects and programs. This team is responsible for leading complex cross-functional initiatives to ensure the availability of source system data for analytical use across AppleCare. You will work closely with the Support Technologies management team and lead a team of data analysts who are responsible for planning and executing various data initiatives within the AppleCare Support portfolio. As the manager, you will be responsible for ensuring project deliverables are met on-time, coaching and development of the data analysts, building strong relationships with our business partners, and coordinating initiatives across many Apple teams, including Support Operations and IS&T. You will use your expertise in data structures, project management, and relationship building to ensure Support Technologies stays ahead of the game when it comes to curating data.
3-5+ years experience in the following areas: Managing highly skilled technical or analytical teams Negotiating scope with high demand customers Translating technical data concepts to non-technical customers Experience with analytical data modeling Experience with database platforms such as Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle, or Vertica Deep understanding of how to use data to create actionable insight and drive change management with the business Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail, especially in predicting and preventing potential future challenges Well-organized, detail oriented with excellent follow through Proven people management experience Deep understanding of AppleCare Support preferred

Finally, you will inspire, lead, organize, and hold accountable individuals and teams in a dynamic, fast-pasted environment and continuously improve the team's abilities in technical and business processes, project management, and customer relationships.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, statistics, analytics, or related field. Or equivalent experience.
