Ellie Mae Inc seeks a Staff Engineer, QA in Pleasanton, CA.

Set up automation environments and infrastructure. Configure Jenkins for the End to End Project. Defines, documents & implements end to end automation coding standards. Manages TFS code lines, merges and upgrades. Designs integrated automation test strategy using Ellie Mae's Web & Windows based ATF. Develops scripts to automate system to system automation by re-using or modifying existing scripts developed by the sprint teams and by designing new re-useable code required to automate our integrated smoke and regression tests. Improve current scripts by refactoring code to reduce execution time and maintenance overhead. Leads other automation testers working on the End to End Team. Performs code reviews to ensure code quality and standards are being followed. Mentor, train and coach others on the team as needed to help review execution results and make changes to automated test suites. Work with other technical staff to understand the inter-product dependencies and impacts across products to better design framework for end to end LOS automation. Participates in strategic technical decisions with other Automation Teams, and with PEG.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field plus 10 years of experience. 7 years of experience in test automation working in an architecture role with a background in software development. 5 years of experience with design, develop and implementation of hybrid automation framework. 10 years of experience automating integrated systems that are both Windows & web based applications using UFT or a combination of UFT & Selenium and Test NG. 10 years of scripting experience with VBScript Java, Javascript, & HTML. 4 years of experience leading automation teams and training new engineers. 4 years of experience configuring automation scripts to run in Jenkins for continuous integration.
