Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

This opportunity is within a team that is developing an Engagement Platform that interfaces Sales with the Solution Engineering Organization. This will be a mission critical and high usage service that will used by thousands of users (Sales rep, Solution engineers).

We are looking for a developer that can do full stack development. You should have experience in building both backend systems and front-end JavaScript based UI. You should have experience building REST API and integrating with other services. The ideal candidate will be technically strong, enthusiastic, passionate to learn new things.

As a member of the dev team, you will partner with others in our development team to implement solutions within a distributed computing environment. You will collaborate with others on the team to ensure systems under development are aligned with other systems. You will assist in supporting operations for the systems that our team owns.

Preferred Technologies:

J2EE, Jersey, Springboot, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JS technologies (jquery, knockout, ReactJS), Jenkins/Hudson, Git, TestNG/junit

Qualifications:

A bachelors/Masters degree in computer science

4-8 years engineering experience in a software development environment

Experience developing front end using Javascript frameworks

Understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development

Experience in building automated unit test cases

Experience working in an agile developer team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
