The Kindle Reader team is looking for an analytical and technically skilled Senior Applied Scientist who can join our team and be at the forefront of revolutionizing the way we look at our Books. Our mission is to go deeper into the world of books and extract knowledge that empowers new discovery experiences.

Work with world-class engineers, scientists, business leaders, and other talented teams while you research, design, and implement machine learning algorithms the that power the Kindle app.

As a Senior Applied Scientist on our team, you will collaborate with other scientists and software engineers to research and develop novel algorithms and modeling techniques to advance the state of the art in NLP, IR, and Machine Learning. Your work will directly impact our customers in the form of products and services that make use of speech and language technology. You will leverage Amazon's heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in natural language understanding.
