Job Description:

Duties: Develop Ab Initio ETL technologies. Code, test, modify, debug, document, and implement Ab Initio graphs utilizing the Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Enterprise Meta>Environment (EM>E TR). Work with diverse datasets. Adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques. Utilize programming skills and contribute to the technical code base. Document detailed application specifications. Create and translate technical requirements into programmed application modules. Develop scripts to automate the execution of Ab Initio graphs using shell scripts under Unix environment. Assist with developing test cases and plans to complete unit testing and support system testing. Participate in design reviews and code reviews. Ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues. Review and provide feedback to final user documentation. Participate in unit testing and integration testing. Assume ownership and accountability for the assigned deliverables through all phases of the development lifecycle.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of experience in the position offered or seven (7) years of experience as an Informatica Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with: software engineering with design, development, testing, and delivery of ETL solutions; ETL technologies; data architecture; ETL application optimization; technical debugging and problem resolution; and version and revision control practices and procedures. This position requires three (3) years of experience with: UNIX shell script development; PL/SQL development; configuring and implementing automated software execution schedules with Control-M; and application development using Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
