Job Description:

Duties: Support and contribute to the full software development lifecycle for new applications. Identify appropriate design solutions for a specific set of business requirements and build Data Integration (DI) web application modules. Collaborate with technology and design teams, as well as business leadership to implement and execute innovative software architecture to meet client specifications. Identify application gaps and opportunities for code enhancements. Report the status of application development to internal project managers and work stream leads. Direct and collaborate with a team in implementing a specific software design while employing best practices and methods at the outset of every JPMC design process. Deliver technical designs and build code for Single Page Application (SPA). Build new applications and provide software application support and guidance to development teams during all phases of the software development lifecycle. Perform peer code reviews. Develop, review, and implement plans. Work closely with product and business end users in conjunction with JMPC's internal design teams in gathering business requirements to deliver the highest-quality web applications. Act as a bridge between understanding the needs of the end-user and accurately communicating the specifications to internal design teams for actual design and implementation. Design software web applications according to agreed terms for scope, cost, quality, and schedule.

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in any field of study, plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Programmer Analyst, Developer, Systems Analyst, or related occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree and two (2) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following: object-oriented (OO) programing technologies such as Java, J2EE, or .Net; Require.JS; Ractive.JS; Blue.JS; MVC design patterns and implementations of web development in .Net, J2EE, and JavaScript; Jasmine; Chai Mocha; node.js; Git; SourceTree; Gulp; Stash; Bitbucket; Bamboo; analytical problem solving; Enterprise design and development working with JSON responses; Agile and Waterfall methodologies; developing secure solutions; and production support.
