Job Description

This is an brand new core development team at Workday-a greenfield and ground floor opportunity for a Devops Engineer who wants to come in and make a huge impact! This is a rare opportunity that involves research, evaluation, implementation, and deployment of a build pipeline that is critical to Workday's Infrastructure and Security. We need experienced Engineers who love building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure-who bring their bold ideas forward and can immediately make a big impact!

* Is configuration management one of your strengths?
* Do you have experience with infrastructure provisioning tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet in production environments with many nodes?
* Can you write Chef cookbooks while you sleep?
* Can you build and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure for critical applications?
* Do you love restful services, service oriented architecture, distributed systems, cloud system and micro services?
* Do you enjoy working in and debugging complex private and public infrastructure, including systems and networks?
