About Cognizant

Job Description

In this role, you will:

* Design and develop machine learning models leveraging data from data sources internal and external to Facets.
* Design and implement components of a search and discovery capability
* Work with the Facets development team, customers and other Cognizant teams to gather requirements and vet potential solutions
* Integrate the models into Facets to produce artificial intelligence solutions
* Participate in designing and implementing Facets' data strategy
* Apply machine learning (incl. deep learning) to identify patterns in data.
* Interface with the product owner(s) and other technical personnel to groom and finalize requirements.

Requires:

* At least 2 years of building and implementing machine learning models
* Experience with indexed search technologies such as SOLR
* Expertise in querying large databases

Desirable:

* Full stack development skills
* Experience with Oracle, MS SQL Server, SAP ASE(Sybase)
* Python, Java, C++ and. Net expertise
* Experience developing solutions in a cloud service such as AWS or Azure
* Experience with Kafka is a plus
* Agile development experience.
