About this role

BlackRock Financial Management, Inc. seeks Software Engineer, Core Platform, APG in New York, NY to support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, system development, testing, implementation and production support for services and applications to scale system operations. Req's: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing operating systems, including Linux; utilizing database technologies, including Sybase and MSSQL; utilizing application support technologies, including JBOSS and Apache; utilizing Big Data concepts and technologies including Cassandra and NoSQL; working with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, C, or C++; and utilizing Agile development methodologies.
