We are the Alexa Communications group, and our mission is to bring people closer together. We develop systems for a wide range of communication use cases and modalities. Our charter ranges from announcements to family members that "dinner is ready" to business calls with clients and everything in between. We are passionate about using technology to make interpersonal communication simpler and more effective.

In this software engineering role, you will join the Alexa Comms A.I. team. We own the natural language understanding models, false invocation rejection models, and customer success analytics for Alexa Comms. Additionally, we are initiating several new projects that use machine learning techniques to improve audio and video quality and to enable several new customer-facing delighter features. We are looking for a software engineer with a background in realtime communication, streaming video or audio, or a similar field, who can build machine learning solutions for the audio/video domain.
