What does the team do?
The Frequent Inspection of a Title (FIT) Engineering team is part of a larger Amazon Video Catalog (AVC) team within Prime Video. Our vision is to provide the best customer experience by ensuring Prime Video titles meets the highest quality standards and to automate publishing of the world's most operationally efficient digital video supply chain.
FIT provides a holistic assessment of the entire title package, as title parts progress through the supply chain, in order to determine if a title is 'fit' to reach PV customers. FIT provides a tailored evaluation of every title according to its type and territory where it will be launched, assessing it across many dimensions to determine its quality and completeness. After this evaluation, FIT will own the decision if a title is ready to be released, or if it has to be returned to the supply chain to get fixed prior to reaching customers.
