Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Primary Skills

* Extensive coding experience in Java, JSON, JAX-RS
* Experience in programming with TypeScript, JavaScript, C
* Experience in JUnit, and JMockit tools
* Hands-on experience with REST, HTTP/HTTPS, Microservices
* An understanding of: OAuth2.0, JWT, JPA, Vault
* Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
* Experience with SQL, MySQL and Oracle RDBMS
* Excellent writing and oral communications skills (in English)
* Strong problem solving skills
* Proven design skills and expertise

Secondary Skills

* Experience on REST testing tools like Postman, Curl.
* Experience in the CX Industry domain
* Experience in using Redis, ELK and other open source Tools
* Good knowledge of current / emerging technologies and trends
* Strong exposure to Cloud concepts (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) with Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure, any certification(s) a plus
* Good team player willing and able to mentor juniors
