Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

The Oracle Cloud Applications team is looking for a Senior Application Developer to help transform the way that customers use, interact, configure and personalize Oracle Cloud Apps by leveraging the latest and greatest technologies, from powerful client-side technology to machine learning and AI capabilities.

This role calls for a very technical, passionate and result oriented candidate who will work with developers, product managers, and architects, using cutting edge technologies to develop component-based UI and tools and ensure successful uptake by Oracle Cloud Apps. Our team is responsible for driving UI technologies across all of Fusion Applications. We need developers who are interested in UI development and can think outside the box in terms of how components can be developed to be shareable across multiple business functions.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

* 4 year experience in product development


* Strong experience in JavaScript/Typescript/HTML and related Client-side technologies (e.g. jQuery, RequireJS)


* Knowledge of REST and related Server-side technologies (e.g. SWAGGER, OpenAPI, NodeJS)


* Experience in Java development


* Very strong communication and analytical skills


* Ability to take ownership and work in a fast-paced distributed environment


* Experience with SCRUM and Agile development methodology


* Experience with Cloud Applications and technologies is a plus
