Overview

East West Bank is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer Lead with experience with leadership and development. This person will report to the FVP, System Engineering Manager. This person will be tasked with taking the lead projects and guiding the team on those special projects. This person will also help support our digital banking initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Systems Engineer with broad experience working in a Hybrid Cloud/On-Prem environment. Ability to design and develop cross technology solutions.
* Design and implement automated dynamic environments to support the needs of delivery teams
* Collaborate with other engineers to develop deployment strategies for existing and new services
* Experience with building reliable systems at scale
* Evaluate and implement technologies that improve efficiency, performance and reliability
* Develop and deliver creative solutions that automate systems engineer functions
* Configure, install, and support Microsoft Windows Servers
* Troubleshoot and resolve server related issues
* Maintain operating systems with regular maintenance
* Manage assigned projects
* Provide technical assistance and support
* Collaborate with Systems Engineering Team Members and Management as well as Development, and Application Support Teams
* Any other duties as assigned by management
* Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage tight deadlines with a mindset for flexibility
* Excels in a fast paced environment and ability to partner, adjust priorities and deadlines as need to meet the larger business goals

Qualifications

* 10-15 years of experience as a Microsoft Systems Engineer
* 1-3 years of experience managing Azure and/or Amazon Cloud technologies
* Experience with MS Windows and VMWare required
* Experience with administrating and managing O365 products and services
* Experience with Citrix Virtual Desktop, Virtual Applications and Netscaler Load Balancers
* Experience with VMWare NSX and Palo Alto Panorama to implement micro segmentation is a plus
* Experience with High Availability/Site Recovery design principles
