Overview

East West Bank is looking for an experienced Financial System Analyst/Developer to manage and integrate our data in the Greater China business and to oversee our Hyperion application and to implement new enhancements in modules. The candidate must have extensive knowledge about Hyperion PBCS and EPM Automate as well as SQL Server development. Knowledge of SQL Server and experience in integrating different types of data with Hyperion is a plus.

Responsibilities

* 5 Years of Experience in Hyperion Essbase or PBCS, 3 years of data analysis experience
* Support daily and monthly data tasks for the Greater China team
* SQL Server, SSIS, Visual Studio experience are a must
* Manage General Ledger mappings with products and accounts and reconciliations to PeopleSoft
* Manage data structures for optimal data storage
* Able to define and document requirements after meeting with Financial Analysts
* Maintain meta data and data load mappings within the database and Hyperion
* Design and develop cubes within ASO and BSO in the PBCS application
* Extensive experience in writing Business Rules within Calculation Manager
* Design and develop new cubes from scratch with needed dimensions
* Optimize data load, refreshes and aggregations
* Create and manage EPM Automate scripts for loading from Excel files and other data sources
* Eliminated need for manual movement of data through automated business rules, EPM Automate procedures and data extraction/load rules
* Able to publish and manage reports for end users and batch scheduling
* Strong background in finance or accounting
* Research new enhancements and bug fixes with PBCS application
* Communicate with Oracle Support on any application issues

Qualifications

* Master's Degree in Finance or Computer Science
* Ability to work independently and generate new ideas to improve applications
* Ability to document, develop and communicate changes to the Greater China Team
* Extensive knowledge of Excel, Essbase, Smart View, EPM Automate
* Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate independence as the only Hyperion developer in the team
* Experience with PBCS industry standards
