Lime is a smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including Lime-E e-assist bicycles and Lime-S electric scooters. Lime aims to revolutionize mobility in cities and campuses by empowering residents with cleaner, more efficient, and affordable transportation options that improve urban sustainability.

We are looking for a network engineer to join our IT team! Be the first IT network/infrastructure engineer at Lime! You will design, build, and maintain the network for our growing global offices and warehouses adhering to the core principles of security, simplicity, and high performance. We value keeping things lightweight yet scalable. We are in the process of building out our flavor of zero trust, and you'll jump right in as an important member of the core team that is driving this initiative. In addition, you will also be responsible for our AV, security camera, and badging infrastructure. This role will require tight collaboration with information security, facilities & real estate, and a host of 3rd party partners including local ISPs, equipment vendors, and MSPs.

What You'll Do

* Design a scalable infrastructure (e.g. Network, Security, AV) solution for all of our physical locations
* Project manage vendors and MSPs to execute on your designs
* Define and deliver quality levels of network performance
* Provide world-class support of Lime's IT infrastructure
* Mentor and teach other members of the team to be proficient in Network, Security, and AV infrastructure
* Provide proactive spoken and written communications on project status, risks, and contingency plans

About You

* 5+ years of experience as a hands-on network engineer
* Deep experience managing and configuring enterprise routers, firewalls, switches, wireless (e.g. PANs, Cisco, Juniper, Aruba)
* Strong knowledge of IP routing (e.g BGP)
* Excellent understanding of zero trust network models (e.g. BeyondCorp)
* Experience managing different VPN and gateway/proxy solutions
* Ability to design small, medium, large network-in-a-box packages for easy deployment and management
* Experience automating deployment, monitoring, and self-healing programs for the global network
* Deep experience managing AV infrastructure (e.g. Zoom)Familiarity with physical security infrastructure including camera systems and badging
* A strong drive when it comes to troubleshooting network performance issues including wireless performance
* Self starter that can jump into action with high level context
* Great at building strong relationships outside your organization and managing 3rd party vendors/partners
* Expert communicator and collaborator who can clearly articulate difficult concepts and ideas
