Your Mission:

We are currently hiring for a Senior Level Web UI Engineer to help Medidata create amazing, cloud based, high quality, high performing web applications for our Centralized Monitoring suite of products. The software you will create will be used to help our clients create life changing drugs and medical devices. You will have great verbal and written communication skills, and as a senior developer, want to mentor junior developers, and influence change among your peers.

* Be a hands-on contributor involved directly in the development of micro-services React applications by adopting appropriate technologies to host in AWS cloud.


* Provide solutions to complex business problems and translate them to technology


* Adhere to good engineering principles and provide high quality solution


* Be aware of new design patterns and provide solutions based on the selected patterns


* Competent in technical stack of choice


* Help the team to debug production issues and provide possible workarounds and solutions


* Support and contribute directly in the development of back-end work when needed.


* Work in collaboration with all the scrum team members and help improve overall scrum team.


* Actively participate in the Scrum meetings


* Contribute in Scrum Artefacts


* Present sprint achievements in reveal


* Thrives in a team environment and has strong people communication skills



Your Competencies:

* Good experience creating reusable components using React and Redux


* Good experience of having worked on a large scale project with React


* Good experience in Postgress or a similar relational database


* Good understanding of HTML and CSS


* Demonstrable problem solving skills


* Experience in Source control and review using Git


* Experience of supporting web applications with ability to troubleshoot and root cause analysis


* Experience of working on an agile team practicing scrum or kanban


* Development in SaaS and cloud-based environments


* Knowledge/experience of building micro-services using Ruby on Rails


* AWS exposure


* Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues


* Thrives in a team environment and has strong people communication skills


* Be a problem solver - find creative solutions for tough problems


* Be Self driven and proactive



Your Education & Experience:

* Bachelor of engineering in computer science or related field
* At least 3 years of professional career experience.
