Responsibilities

Purpose and Summary of position:

* Drive innovation for End User Technology, maintaining vendor technical relationships and market trend awareness
* Create and maintain the architecture, design, and installation process for endpoint operating systems and applications in compliance with a release management procedure
* Take on ownership for a global Endpoint infrastructure services (primary or backup responsibility), which includes strategy, improvements, updates, automation, operations, efficiency, and troubleshooting for that service
* Provide NAFTA regional team leadership for endpoint engineering members and technology functions, including performance reviews and personnel development
* Participate in Endpoint Engineering projects as lead or individual contributor
* Collaborate with peers from other technology areas within IT as well as third party vendors to resolve problems, improve services and contribute to projects
* Provide global third level support for any endpoint service requests, incidents and problems and RCA
* Write documentation for processes, procedures, policies and standards as well as training material
* Map customers business need to architect adequate technology solution
* Establish and maintain standards to support the operational efficiency and effectiveness of endpoint solutions

Qualifications

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

* Demonstrated knowledge of End-To-End technical system integration
* Ability to design, architect, implement and maintain an endpoint infrastructure within a business environment
* Experience operating enterprise management and monitoring systems with focus on the Microsoft Stack: Window OS (With emphasis on Win 10 Enterprise) / O365 / Endpoint Encryption (BitLocker) / Backup solution (OneDrive) / System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) / Mobile device management (Intune) / AD / Exchange / SharePoint / SQL / Azure)
* Ability to perform lifecycle management for operating systems and applications such as hotfixes, service packs, software and OS deployments according to a release management process
* Function as an escalation point for complex technical problems and issues
* Regularly demonstrate innovation and creativity to develop and/or deploy new technical solutions as well as integrate new technology with the existing systems and infrastructure
* Experience in automating routine tasks
* Implement and manage a virtual environment
* Ensure compliance with all security and operational policies and procedures
* Good understanding of networking, DNS, DHCP, subnets, routers, wireless connectivity

* Strong English language skills (oral and written)
* Ability to work in a global technical team paired with strong communication skills
* Structured Problem solving skills in enterprise IT environments
* Remain calm under pressure and maintain a focus on the order of priorities without sacrificing ingenuity
* Take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks and duties
* Strong emphasis on Customer focus

* Consultation of management only in cases where decision has to be taken on a higher level/in case of escalation
* Acts as a sparring partner for management in order to take decisions in complex issues

Required Years' Experience:

* 5 + years

Required Education:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
